The series from Ed Brisson and Kev Walker is set in the continuity of the film franchise, and it had been delayed due to a legal battle between Disney and the writers of the original film. But it looks like the coast is now clear, and Marvel’s Predator is finally coming to life. The original plan was for Marvel to follow-up their Alien comic book series with a Predatorseries last year, but those plans were put on hold due to a legal battle over the franchise rights. Hellboy is being exec produced by Christa Campbell, Lati Grobman, and Carl Hampe. Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin and Mike Richardson are the producers. The new story sees the hero squaring off against a medieval sorceress who seeks to destroy humankind.Īron Coleite worked on the latest draft of a script by Andrew Cosby, Christopher Golden and Hellboy creator Mike Mignola. Hellboy has been “ Rated R for strong bloody violence and gore throughout, and language.”Īlso starring: Milla Jovovich as Nimue, the film’s villain Ian McShane as Professor Broom Daniel Dae Kim as Major Ben Daimio Penelope Mitchell as Ganeida and Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan with Sophie Okonedo ( After Earth), Brian Gleeson ( mother!) and Alistair Petrie ( The Night Manager, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story). Along with a new image of David Harbour‘s title character (in a wrestling ring!), these images show off comic book characters Baba Yaga and Gruagach, along with a new look at Milla Jovovich as the film’s villain!
Another day, another batch of new images from Neil Marshall‘s Hellboy, but this here is perhaps the coolest batch we’ve gotten to date.
